Big Spring Pina Colada

In a blender add:

  • 2 oz Big Spring White Rum
  • 5 oz Cream of Coconut
  • 3 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 cup of ice

Blend until smooth. Pour into 14 oz glass, garnish with slice of pineapple, insert straw and enjoy.



In a cocktail shaker, add:

  • 1 oz Silver Hare Wheat Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Silver Fox Rye Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Silver Lion Corn Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz ginger shrub
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • dash of egg whites

Shake and serve in a rocks glass rimmed with a mix of 2 parts black pepper/1 part sugar.

Rhubarb Mojito

Rebecca Larsen, mixologist at Gigi's, shared with us an excellent rhubarb mojito, featuring Big Spring Spirits Rum! The rhubarb is excellent in this because it is slightly sweet and balances really well with all of the fresh mint and bit of acidity from the lime.

In a pint glass, muddle together:

Fill glass 2/3 of the way with ice and add 2oz Big Spring Spirits Rum. Top with a shaker and shake well. Strain into a collins glass and fill with ice and serve with a garnish of mint and a like wedge.

Big Spring New Fashioned

  • 1 oz Big Spring Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz Big Spring Silver Lion White Corn Whiskey
  • 1 oz Big Spring Spiced Rum
  • Fruit: cherry, orange wedge, lemon wedge
  • Dash of Orange Bitters

In a 12 oz glass, muddle 1 oz of Big Spring Coconut Rum with all of the fruit and orange bitters. Add Big Spring Silver Lion White Corn Whiskey and Spiced Rum. Fill glass with ice, stir, and serve.

Salt Caramel Martini

  • 2 oz Big Spring Vodka
  • 1 oz of salted caramel
  • 1 oz of half and half
  • spash of vanilla syrup

Put all ingredients into a martini shaker filled with ice and shake well. Pour into a chilled martini glass and serve.

Eve's Transgression

  • 2 oz Big Spring Spirits Rum
  • 1 oz Apple-Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Tait Farm Spiced Apple Shrub
  • Splash of lemon juice

Put all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass.


Coaly AKA Milesburg Mule

  • 2oz. Big Spring vodka
  • slash of Tait's ginger shrub
  • squeeze of lime
  • 4oz. ginger beer

Put vodka, ginger shrub, and lime in a shaker with ice, shake and pour into copper or rocks glass. Top with ginger beer.
